About Dianna

I offer in-person and remote tutoring. I have a bachelor's degree in Biology from Stanford, and have been teaching informally and formally since I was in junior high myself, when I used to help my sister and classmates with their math questions. I am known for being very approachable, and for making math accessible to students who have difficulties. I enjoy breaking down concepts into understandable bites, and asking students questions that let them discover just how much they really do know often they know a lot more than they realize, and helping them to fill in the gaps that are impeding their progress and/or enjoyment in math. I meet students where they are and help them build on their strengths and work through their difficulties. I hope to help them discover the fun, beauty, and wonder in math along the way. I am always on the lookout for teaching resources, activities and games that will enrich our learning experiences together.
