About Diane

I've worked as a speech/language pathologist in schools, volunteered in my children's classrooms and am one class away from being a Pre-K through 3rd grade certified teacher. I've spent the past 4 years teaching language arts and social studies to first grade students at a private school for gifted children-many of whom struggled with reading. My knowledge of language development and learning from my work as an SLP provides a solid foundation on which I've built my approach to reading. I continually research best practices and will customize my approach based on your child's needs.
