As a career nanny and mother of two, I am passionate about infant and toddler care and feel privileged to spend my days with little ones. After leaving a 7-year tech role and pivoting to a career that brings me joy, I take great pride in bringing loving enthusiasm, engaged play, and thoughtful daily routines into the homes of wonderful Santa Barbara families. I aim to be the highly experienced caregiver who not only helps your baby thrive, but who also instills confidence and trust in the parents I work with through excellent communication and collaboration. I've spent the last 3 years working exclusively with infant and toddler sets of 2 (twins, nanny share, and bringing my own daughter). The bonding and social play that takes place in this dynamic is incredibly rewarding for me, the families, and of course the two little best friends! With this in mind, an ideal-fit family would be one that welcomes my own December-born baby as part of the care arrangement.

Diane watched my 1-year-old daughter for two full workdays while our regular nanny was on vacation, and we had a wonderful experience. She brought her 3-month-old son with her, and I was truly impressed by how seamlessly she managed both children. It was clear right away that Diane has extensive experience caring for multiple kids, both from her previous work and as a parent herself. She handled everything with ease and confidence, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I especially appreciated how she thoughtfully encouraged my daughter to engage with her baby—something that’s meaningful for us as we’re expecting another child. She also had no trouble putting my daughter down for naps, which isn’t always easy. Diane even took both kids on an outing to the zoo, and my daughter had an amazing time. She came home happily exhausted (always a good sign!) and it was clear she had a fun, enriching day. I would absolutely recommend Diane to any family looking for a capable, experienced, and attentive caregiver.
