I am currently in my 13th year working as a teachers assistant at a 5 Star Bright Star Preschool Program in Charlestown, RI and completely loving it. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education from The Community College of Rhode Island. I am also Paraprofessional Certified. My CPR and First Aid Certifications are up to date. Personally, I have two daughters that are now 16 and 18 years of age. They both attend high school and are high honors students in the International Baccalaureate Program. Yes, I am very proud of them. My current position at the preschool is part time. I am looking for more hours, ideally full time employment. To be completely honest, I lost my husband this past May to Colon Cancer. I have two beautiful girls to support. I absolutely love my career at preschool, but I now need more hours and benefits would be a bonus.
