About Diane

Two beautiful people call me "Mom". My 24-year-old graduated from college last year and my 20-year-old is going to be a SR at UMR this fall. About 10 years ago, I became a paraprofessional in Early Childhood Special Education. Working with 3 and 4-year-olds has become my passion. Over the years, I have worked with children with all types of abilities in a school setting. (ASD, ADHD, CP, Downs Syndrome, complex medical needs, DeafBlind, Sensory Integration Disorder, Epilepsy, multiples and many more) I am trained in Conscious Discipline and recently became an Intervener. I'm looking to support families with young children with special needs. I am available Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. (More availability in summer months) Happy to help with meals, tidying up, organization, medical needs and more. In my spare time, I like to cook! One thing you should know about me is: I adore children. Creating a strong connections to children and their families is paramount.
