I moved from Sweden to Charleston nearly a year ago and have cared for children 8 months-school age as a nanny and in childcare settings, including a Montessori kindergarten, supporting learning, daily routines, and play. In Sweden, childcare is very outdoor-focused, so I'm used to incorporating outdoor time alongside everyday play and hands-on experiences that help children explore and learn.
