About Diana

Hello! I am a teacher in Katy ISD. I taught 1st grade for 3 years and 3rd grade for 1 year. Looking for a fun summer job where I can still interact with kids! Even though those are the only grades I taught, my certification is from Early Childhood to 6th grade! I love teaching and caring for kids which is why I would be a perfect babysitter/tutor. I am especially good at developing kids' passion for math and reading. I am currently in charge of the Read, Deed, Run program at our school where we teach kids the importance of healthy lifestyle, giving back to your community and always challenging yourself academically. With children, it is all about developing those relationships. So I can also be fun when needed! I am creative and love to dance! I am also Colombian and speak Spanish fluently. I was a swimmer for 15 years and swam in College at UT. I am here to help out in whichever way I can!
