I love caring for seniors, they are often dismissed & put to the side. They are the foundation of our society & deserve to be honored & cared for in a loving manner. Taking all things into consideration. I'm looking for a job that I can help someone in their daily life. Making every day the best possible under all circumstances. I started caring for seniors when helping a friend to take her patient to the dr. Years later she became my patient & lived in our mother in law apt. I was her primary caregiver w/the help of 2 others. I cared for others & my aging parents. I am a responsible person who is willing to do whatever necessary to get the job done above and beyond expectations. I meal prep according to patient's needs & requests. Working w/various medications & supplements. Researching better ways to make my patient thrive. Assist & encourage my patient to be independent when possible. Encourage movement & exercise for the mind and body.

What a journey our family has been on, out of 15 total primary part-time caregivers and double team caregivers, not to mention assisted living and insurance support caregivers, the GREATEST caregiver support was and is, Diana D. I am Michelle V. and Grandaughter of Martha C., aka “ Mima”, a feisty, powerful, loving, giving, and challenging woman of independence and vigor whom passed away peacefully, well loved and supported, 4 September, 2023. I stepped in as administrator of Mimas’ health and home care in 2013 when a pacemaker was needed to support Mimas’ heart and well being. What a challenge to manage all from afar with my sister on the ground in Texas. I took on every detail unless I needed my sister in her home to balance Mimas’ needs. I have learned so much over the years, but I would never have been able to provide the level of home care, supportive visit care, medical care, team care, household care, medication care, special needs care, crazy moments care, middle of the night care, rescue care, hospital care, errand care, emergency room care, appointment care, home management care, the passing of a grandma after care and crazy grandma antics care, if it wasn’t for Diana D.s’ loving commitment and acceptance of employment in August of 2019. She was our rock during Covid, and even now while dealing with Mimas’ estate, Diana D. rises for all our needs or collaborates when we are balancing a busy life. My family is so grateful for everything she has done and I have the highest respect and appreciation of Diana D. for the gifts of love, respect of an aging woman’s dignity, holistic reflection on medications, Mimas’ personality, medical planning and medication planning, running of household, repairs, meeting maintenance workers and actually maintaining my Mimas’ home physically and other workers, even many nights of collaboration and listening to my worries. We made a perfect LOVING TEAM when Mima was alive and now. Anyone that may reach out to Diana D. for any type of employment would be so lucky.. a very dedicated human with great empathy!
