I am excited to express my interest in transitioning from long-term care to private-duty caregiving. My experience as a CNA and PCA has given me strong skills in providing hands-on care, assisting with daily activities, and supporting individuals with compassion, patience, and respect. I am especially interested in private duty because of the opportunity to provide more personalized, one-on-one care. I value the trust and connection that develops when caring for someone closely and learning their individual routines, preferences, and needs. I believe quality caregiving goes beyond completing tasks--it means helping someone feel safe, respected, comfortable, and valued. I am also drawn to the flexibility of private-duty work and the ability to adapt my care to each client.
