About Devin

I am adventurous, empathetic, responsible, and adaptable. I like working with kids because they bring a fresh perspective to everyday life, bring childlike wonder to those around them, and their ability to show resilience. I believe my life purpose is to teach but I am not quite ready to move into the classroom from the outdoor classroom. I am looking for flexibility with stability, the ability to be creative and playful, and a job where I can showcase my skills. I started working with kids in 2019 where I worked as a seasonal outdoor educator with Outward Bound, where I brought adolescents backpacking and rock climbing for 10-30 days at a time. I continue to work with kids and adults for a living in Outdoor education or mountain guiding. I love outside activities such as rock climbing, bike riding, walking, mountaineering, and swimming. Other than outdoor activities, I enjoy listening to fiction audiobooks and trying new crafts. Certified in wilderness first aid & CPR.
