About Destiny

Hi! I'm a Master's student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Spelman College Psychology graduate with 3 years of experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), I've helped children build communication, social, emotional, and daily living skills using positive, individualized strategies, including children on the autism spectrum. I'm also a former lifeguard, Water Safety Instructor (WSI), CPR certified, and a former SpelREADS tutor. I love planning crafts, games, outdoor activities, helping with homework, preparing simple meals, and assisting with light household tasks. I approach every child with empathy, patience, kindness, and integrity. I also have 3 years of pet-sitting experience and am happy to care for dogs, cats, and other pets. In my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking, picnics, traveling, and creating YouTube videos!
