About Destiny

I am a dependable and compassionate caregiver. I have dedicated the last year alone to home school teaching a pod of students who can't attend school due to the pandemic. Although my experience goes much further than this year, I have volunteered with Nicholas children miracle hospital for the past 4 years through my fraternity involvement during my undergraduate education. As well as serving as a counselor for 3 years for the Samuel field YMCA in Queens, New York. My educational background also supports my strong desire to peruse a career path in childcare, I majored in psychology with a specialty in early childhood development and I am pursuing a master's degree in mental health counseling for pediatric patients. All in all, I think my age and education factor into me helping provide an upbeat and positive addition to any child's life. I have worked with children with both special needs and not. I also have the educational background to be a great contribution to a child's education.
