About Destiny

Hello! I'm Destiny, a full-time special education teacher by day, part-time caregiver by night (specializing in occasional/date-night sitting). I enjoy being able to help others and see care giving as a hobby rather than a job. Because of my career, I am typically unavailable between the hours of 7:00 a.m. -4:30 p.m. M-F. However, I am available during most weeknights and weekend hours. Did I mention having summer months off and lots of holiday breaks!? And don't worry, I'm usually available for your last minute plans! I have cared for children anywhere from 1 month to 14 years old with responsibilities such as cooking simple meals, helping with homework, potty training, bathing, and carrying out bedtime routines. I am also CPR and first aid certified. Some of my favorite things to do with kids would be outside sports, coloring, and dance parties!

Destiny is amazing! She stepped in to watch our 5 month old son during a special event at a local resort. It was our first time having a babysitter, so we were nervous... but she asked great questions and made us feel reassured. We are especially grateful that she prioritized his safety (at least twice the fire alarms went off, and she took him outside out of an abundance of caution) and kept in touch throughout the night. I would definitely trust her to watch my son again - Destiny is wonderful, worth every penny and then some!
