About Destiny

I have been an LNA for a little over 2 years now, and I've worked in a variety of different settings. I started my career in home health. I absolutely love working in geriatrics, with a particular interest in memory care. I have spent copious amounts of time in memory care, and I pride myself in my ability to be patient when clients have strong feelings. I always work toward finding a solution to ease the client's discomfort or anger, rather than just getting angry myself. Communication is imperative for me, as I always keep families in the loop with any behavioral or physical changes I notice with the client. I am also a Reiki I practitioner, my life goal is to continue to be a healer. I also have 4 cats of my own, grew up on a small farm, and have taken care of other people's fur babies so I'd love to take care of your fur babies too! Animals are my world.
