About Destiny

Hello! :) My name is Destiny, I'm a local artist, small business owner, and a former STEAM Teacher/Paraprofessional/Teacher Assistant. I've worked with children for seven amazing years now. I worked as a Mad Scientist for Mad Science San Diego. Where I developed skills/knowledge on how to come up with fun educational rememberable activities for kids. After that I worked for five years as a STEAM teacher for an after school program. I then had my own classroom filled with 20 to 38 students . I worked with all grades in those years, pre school-fifth grade. My last year I worked at high schools as a Paraprofessional/Teacher Assistant. I worked with children of all needs and differences. I've gained a lot of experience through this all and would love to apply it further in my child care career while I am as well a full time artist. My skills include first aid trained/certified, child development knowledge, and I am always coming up with creative and fun activities.
