I have enjoyed being around kids since I was young & was able to carry them on my little hip! When I wasn't able to carry around younger family members and babies, I would always make sure I had a baby doll to carry or push around in a stroller! I started working in child care when I was 13, through a youth program where I worked as a summer camp counselor & a youth aid for special needs. As soon as I turned 17, one of the companies hired me and it sparked my wanting to further my education after high school to pursue counseling. I think it's vital & important to understand children and their behavior and find every way you can to help & support them. As a family counselor, I will be able to make sure the family supports their children no matter what and provide them with the support and resources to do so. I surround myself with kids in my free time, and they truly bring me happiness!
