About Destinee

Working with children has always been a strength of mine! I enjoy being a part of a child's life experience while also being able to have fun with whatever age I work with. I first gained my experience helping out with my younger sister, who is 11 years younger than me. I then began babysitting in college, which turned into nanny roles. I've been a nanny to multiple families, and have watched over almost every age ranging from 6 months to 12 years. I have been with my most recent family of three children for three years. As their nanny I would help with morning prep for school, homework, organize rooms, prepare meals, plan fun activities, travel with them, & tend to the youngest's needs(change diapers, nap time, etc.). I earned my bachelors degree in psychology and social behavior from UC Irvine in 2019. I loved learning about child and infant development. From my experience in child care, I have learned to be more patient, empathetic, and understanding of those I work with.
