About Desteny

Hi! My name is Desteny, and I'm currently a college student working toward becoming a NICU nurse. Caring for children has been a big part of my life for over 6 years, and I truly enjoy helping them learn, grow, and feel safe. I have experience caring for children from newborns to 10 years old and have also worked with children with autism and Down syndrome. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, bilingual in English and Spanish, have reliable transportation, and my vaccinations are up to date. My priority is always creating a safe, loving, and positive environment where children feel comfortable and parents have peace of mind. I enjoy reading books, playtime, tummy time, outdoor activities, crafts, and finding fun, age appropriate ways to keep children engaged throughout the day. I also like keeping parents updated with pictures and messages, along with a recap at the end of the day. I love animals and am happy to be around family pets.
