About Desteni

My name is Desteni and I am 24 years old, with a 2-year-old child myself. I have an associates degree in Psychology, with a focus in childhood development. I worked at First Children's School, a school for children with disabilities, in Scotch Plains for 2 years. I worked there as an assistant teacher, and worked with children from preschool age all the way up to the age of 21, whom had different needs and needed assistance in all forms of care. I am proficient in sign language and have a good understanding in Spanish, but not fluent yet. I am aware of different styles of communication in children and know many skills and approaches for speech and behavioral concerns I would provide updates, and photos for the parents along with weekly progress on educational activities I have a strong passion in arts as well and would love to find fun-filled craft activities along with the educational activities My current availability is every day, so I can do any time and any day.
