About Destenie

Hi! My name is Destenie. I'm 22 years old and have been working with children on and off since I was 14. I began as a camp counselor, later helped with after-school programs for younger students, and eventually transitioned into a daycare setting. I'm currently enrolled at Quinnipiac University, where I'm pursuing a bachelor's degree in Child Care and Elementary Education through the Interdisciplinary Studies program. I'll be graduating in May 2026. Working with children has always been my passion. From a young age, I knew I wanted to help kids learn, grow, and explore the world around them. Children bring so much joy into my life, and I love creating a positive, supportive environment where they can thrive.
