About Desiree

I've been caring for kids for over six years and have always naturally gravitated toward them. As the oldest of four, I grew up helping with younger siblings, and I've always loved the energy, curiosity, and personality that kids bring. I'm a former collegiate basketball and track & field athlete, so I'm very active and love being outside. I'd much rather get kids moving, playing a game, making something, exploring, or trying a new activity than have them sitting in front of a screen all day. I'm also creative and love finding activities that fit their age and personality. I'm patient, caring, and easygoing, but I also understand the importance of keeping routines and boundaries. My goal is for kids to feel comfortable with me while still having a fun, engaging time. I'm also flexible and open to one-time, recurring, or last-minute requests when my schedule allows.
