About Desirae

I'm Desirae, and caring for seniors is truly where my heart lies. I have over 6 years of experience working with the elderly population in both home care and skilled nursing settings. I currently work as a CNA caring for residents with dementia, progressive diseases, hospice needs, post-op recovery, and behavioral health conditions. My true passion is hospice care and providing comfort, dignity, and compassion during a client's final stages of life. I have extensive experience assisting with ADLs, safe transfers, mechanical lifts, repositioning, bed baths, incontinence care, and dementia care. I am currently in nursing school and plan to continue expanding my knowledge throughout my career. I love learning, meeting new families, and adapting care to each client's individual needs. I believe promoting independence is essential to helping clients feel respected, valued, safe, and cared for.
