About Derek

Hey! My name is Derek (AJ), and I'm a sophomore in college studying Business Marketing. I've been nannying and babysitting for 2-3 years and have experience caring for children with ADHD, autism, and children who are nonverbal. I'm CPR certified and prioritize safety, patience, and creating a positive environment for kids to feel comfortable being themselves. My Christian faith is an important part of who I am, and I strive to show kindness, compassion, and respect in everything I do. I enjoy building strong connections with the families I work with and understanding each child's unique personality and needs.
