About Derek

Hello, My name is Derek and I am ready to help you with whatever you need! I am 28 and I'd say I have been helping out with the kids my whole life when it comes to my two younger sisters (now 20 & 17), nieces and nephews, and have always been a great support system for them when it comes to life in general and encouraging growth and goal-setting, achieving, etc. I have 7 years of experience working with kids in the Public School system. In my most recent position within the school system, my focus is helping our students whom have a hard time focusing and avoiding distractions learn skills to become successful in their education. My goal is also to provide services to those families in need of a compassionate, caring, and motivated nanny. Personally, I find that it is important to build and maintain relationships with families so that I am able to meet the needs of those who need it the most.
