About Denise

Currently, I am an art teacher for a local home school co-op and a substitute teacher. I taught in a private school for 7 years before having my own children. I was a nanny for 5 years and offered tutoring in my home for 3 years. I only work with elementary age or younger students and my specialty is reading. I worked in a Montessori school. I'm am very much a believer in following the child. I feel it is very important to find out how each child learns best. I feel it is best for the teacher to not have a "teaching style", but for the teacher to figure out each child's unique "learning style".
