About Denise

I am a current High School English Teacher with a Masters Degree in Reading from Rowan University and am a Certified Reading Specialist in the state of NJ. I have been working with kids of all ages for over 20 years! I have been teaching for 13 years in the public school classroom setting; I began my career in the Piscataway School District and am currently working in the East Brunswick School District. I love reading and writing and look forward to working with students who are struggling with reading comprehension, writing and inference making skills to help them discover their inner strengths ! I am available via any online platform for your tutoring convenience as well as at the local library during the weekday evenings. My passion is working with kids struggling to find their inner reader and writer that's hidden on the inside!
