About Denise

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, patient and caring I enjoy working with kids because it's super rewarding to be a part of a growing child's life as well as a privilege to be their safe and trusting space aside from their family. I am available for a family that may need a little extra help with child care in the mornings to early afternoon. I started working with kids when I was a junior in high school. I began with taking child development classes, then I had internships at preschools, and I also worked at a library and helped with children's programs. In my spare time, I like to go on walks to the park or beach, listen to music, and try new coffee places. Currently I am a student at Ventura College and I am CPR/First Aid Certified. One thing you should know about me is that I am very empathetic and a very good listener. With this, I do feel my patience is very well and helps me better communicate with others.
