About Denise

Hello! I have been an educator for 26 years. I earned my MFA in dance from NYU - Tisch School of the Arts. I was the Founding Director of Dance at Mercersburg Academy in Mercersburg, PA for 20 years when I decided to accept a job at Chatham Hall as Assistant Dean of Students all to be closer to my dad with Alzheimer's. Since his recent passing, I now have the opportunity to pivot in my career, ready for a change, but still honor my gift of connecting with children. I have taught a movement class called Brain Compatible Dance Education (yes, tummy time!) as I am certified in this technique. I am First Aid and CPR certified and I have a clean driving and background record. I have been the nanny for a now 12-month-old since September and am seeking a position that supports a work/ life balance of a 40 hour work week.
