About Denise

Hello, I m Denise. I have been taking care of seniors part time for the past five years. I cared for my own grandma the last 2 years of her life. She was 91 with dementia and needed assistance with walking, bathing, eating, bathroom and diapers. She also needed companionship and I really enjoyed our time together. I realized after she passed that there are elderly people who don t have someone to provide what I was able to give my grandmother. I was referred by a friend to an elderly couple who needed some assistance. The woman had cancer and needed transportation to her appointments and treatments. The man had dementia so I would prepare meals, keep the house clean, do the laundry, change wet sheets assist him with bathing and changing diapers. Both died a month apart and it was very sad. I did feel the time we spent together made their quality of life better. I want to provide elderly care full time. I love improving their quality of life.
