About Denise

My name is Denise and I am interested in the personal aide position, working on the weekends. I worked as a program director for a non profit agency for 20 years, with individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities. I have overseen several group homes, and ensured that our residents were given excellent care, and that they were living the best quality of life. I have experience working with the medically fragile, which includes individuals who are non ambulatory and uses a wheel chair. I have training in Hoyer lifts, transfer techniques, and crisis intervention. I am certified in CPR, first aid, Diabetes training, which includes insulin management and defensive driving training. Also, I have experience working with individuals with Dementia, and individuals on hospice care.
