About Delia

I am a mental health therapist and I'm looking for some part time work to supplement my current work. I usually work in the afternoons and evenings during the week and often have breaks. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and my Master's Degree in Social Work. I've received training on trauma informed childcare, childhood development, and effective communication for children and families. I have worked with children for 15 years. I've been a nanny for several families and I have run 2 day cares in my career. I have worked with ages ranging from new born babies to teenagers and I've also volunteered as a coach for Girls on the Run for during college. I love doing arts and crafts, getting outside in nature, playing games, and telling stories to kids. I have my own car, a 2023 Toyota RAV4, I've never received a speeding ticket, and I don't smoke. I grew up with dogs, I currently have a cat, and I feel comfortable providing pet care as needed.
