Hi families! I'm a nanny with 9 years of experience and I love caring for infants and toddlers. 

I care for a sweet 5-month-old and have availability for occasional weekday evening and weekend babysitting with children in the 0-3 year age range. 

My approach to child-rearing is focused on developing a secure attachment relationship and providing responsive care that is attuned to the child's needs. I believe that behavior is communication and that children thrive with firm boundaries and lots of love. Emotional co-regulation and connection is the foundation that I strive for. I enjoy spending time outside, going for walks to nearby activities, and allowing children to lead their play. I'm happy to help with light housekeeping tasks as time permits.

Delaney cared for our son and a similarly aged baby for 7 months (35 hours/week). She is a gentle and patient caregiver who we had the utmost confidence in. We particularly appreciated her attentiveness to safety in all forms. We found her to be very understanding and accommodating of the wide spectrum of babies and their needs (e.g., sleep support, etc.). Beyond the quality of her care, we were very impressed with Delaney's professionalism - she was consistently on time,  took initiative to make suggestions for activities and improvements for the babies, and was a direct and proactive communicator. We feel lucky our son was nurtured by Delaney and continue to rely on her as a babysitter for our family. 

We have had Delaney babysit numerous times. She is so warm and caring. Her gentle energy is really comforting for our son who tends to have a hard time with sitters initially. Delaney is very responsive and so trustworthy. We love her!

Delaney worked with my family for two years, starting when my daughter was 5 months old. During that time She has been nothing short of wonderful for my daughter and family. 

When my daughter was an infant, Delaney showed endless patience.  She was always kind, attentive, and dependable.  My daughter was always on schedule and well cared for and Delaney always gave her full attention.

She also communicated well with us nervous first-time parents and made sure we were always informed. We were always at ease when my daughter was in her care because of her professional and forthright approach.

But Delaney exceeded great care, and made sure my daughter was enriched. She planned and researched stimulating activities for whatever developmental stage my daughter was in.  She would take her out to the park, find local events,  and also create sensory experiences at home. She even planned photo shoots on special occasions - some of the results I will cherish forever. 

Beyond all that, she truly seems to like young children and my daughter truly likes her. She has an obvious passion for this work that shows through and has resulted in a genuine friendship with my daughter.  

Though she will no longer be our  nanny, we will always reach out to her for childcare because of the positive presence ahead has in our lives.

I cannot recommend Delaney highly enough as a nanny. She cared for our daughter from 5 months to 2.5 years old in a nanny share arrangement, and we truly could not have asked for a better caregiver. 

Delaney is kind, patient, and incredibly loving—you can tell she genuinely enjoys working with infants and toddlers, and her passion for child development shines through in everything she does. As first-time parents, my husband and I often had questions and uncertainties, and Delaney was always a source of reassurance and knowledge. She helped us understand what might be developmentally appropriate at each stage, making our parenting journey so much easier. She played an instrumental role in helping our daughter learn how to use the potty and was always proactive in planning fun, engaging activities and maintaining a great routine for the kids.

As part of our nanny share, Delaney also did a wonderful job supporting each family's unique parenting approach. When we started the nanny share, we were doing contact naps with our baby, and she found a way to balance that while also getting the other child to sleep in their crib. Over time, she gently helped our daughter transition to independent sleep, which was a huge milestone for us.

Delaney is the definition of a true professional—she is always early, incredibly communicative, and consistently goes above and beyond.

We are beyond grateful for our time with Delaney, and any family would be incredibly lucky to have her as their nanny. She has been a wonderful, loving presence in our daughter’s life, and we cannot recommend her highly enough!

We could count on Delaney to arrive on time and keep our little ones (3 months and 4 years) engaged while we dealt with moving out of our old home and into our new home! I trusted Delaney with my newborn daughter--Delaney spent hours diligently walking around our neighborhood with my daughter in the stroller to help her nap! Highly recommend for anyone with young kids!

We hired Delaney to be our full time nanny for our daughter. She cared for her from the time she was 6 months old until about 15 months. We could not have found a better caregiver for our daughter during this crucial time in her development! Delaney is gentle, creative, communicative, punctual, dependable, and a continuous learner. She has helped our daughter to feel safe while away from her mom and dad, has helped her develop gross and fine motor skills, and more recently helped with her language development. Delaney reads to her, sings to her, takes her to the park, on walks, and finds creative new activities to do together every week. She also has been a huge help in developing her feeding skills and supported us with baby led weaning.  She is super respectful of our approach to parenting and has always been open to suggestions and feedback. If Delaney is available to care for your infant or toddler, it would definitely be in your best interest to hire her!

I've worked with Delaney for a few months now. She has helped our family tremendously on the weekends and occasional weekdays in the evenings. We have an almost three year old daughter she helps care for. She's helped with childcare, potty training, light cleaning, meal prep, bedtime, and daughter's laundry. And now that I'm close to giving birth to our second child she's helping as a mother's help as well. She will help around the time of baby#2's birth being on call just in case I go into labor overnight and to be an extra set of hands around the house.

She's been a great help to our family. I'd definitely work with her and recommend her any childcare job she is seeking.

Delaney is very calm, attentive, and sweet with babies. I really appreciate how she works to get to know what the baby needs. She passionate about infant development and really lovely to work with!!

Delaney cared for my 3 year old and infant on several occasions.  She communicates well and was punctual.  She worked for us during a Covid surge and I felt she was very safe and conscientious.  She took good care of both kiddos.  With my infant she wrote down details of his day such as how much he ate and slept and diaper changes without my even asking which was really nice.  We would definitely use her in the future!

Delaney was great with our three month old daughter! She clearly has a lot of experience with infants and made me feel totally at ease leaving my daughter with her. Would definitely hire again!

Delaney was wonderful! Our one year old had only been cared for by close family since birth, but Delaney won him over so quickly! He was so comfortable with her that at the end of the afternoon he tried to go back to Delaney when his Dad came home! We were so anxious about having a new person with him, but Delaney put us at ease. We would hire Delaney again in a heartbeat!

Delaney is absolutely phenomenal. She was a nanny for my 2 girls from August 2019-October 2021 and cared for my daughter starting at 2.5mo. We also had another daughter when my oldest was just under 2yo, so she certainly had her hands full with a toddler and an infant. She was always punctual, had great communication with us, managed when the grandparents were visiting, loving, firm with boundaries, flexible with schedule, always willing to work, loyal and devoted to my girls, just all around great. Even helped take care of our pup too. We practically begged her to move with us to Colorado in Oct 2021. I don't think we will ever be lucky enough to find another Delaney.

Delaney has babysat for us for only a few times so far, but we plan to hire her as often as we can. She has demonstrated excellent transparency and communication skills in our interactions, and has shown respect and kindness towards our son. I was looking for a sitter that had these qualities in particular, and that allowed child-led play and who could be sensitive to the particular needs of our autistic child, which she has done. Coming out of a long Covid-isolated period, we feel comfortable having Delaney be someone we could turn to for much needed childcare support.

Delaney is professional, reliable, and attentive. Our boys really enjoyed their time with her and we look forward to continuing to have her help out with babysitting needs in the future.

I would highly recommend Delaney to anyone who is looking for a kind, caring and dependable babysitter. Delaney started taking care of our daughter when she was 4 months old and has been incredible. She is always on time, if not early. She shows up at least 15 minutes beforehand to go over the nighttime routine and where to find certain things for our daughter while we are away. She even took the initiative to fold all of our daughters laundry that was in the guest room. Our daughter is all smiles with her, and when she does begin the dreaded spiral at bedtime, Delaney keeps her calm. We will continue to use her for our date nights.

Delaney has filled in for our full time nanny and helped us with date nights. She always arrives early and has been very reliable. 
She warmed up instantly to my son who is 18 months and even asked is she could help around the house while he napped which was much appreciated. 
I highly recommend her!

Delaney has watched my son a handful of times and we will continue to hire her. She is knowledgeable about child development, patient, honest and listens well. Since I am home while she is here I know my son enjoys his time with her and he is happy to see her when she arrives. I feel confident that my two-year old is well taken care of with her. Delaney goes above and beyond babysitting expectations. She always exceeds all tasks given with a smile. My daughter loves her and screams with excitement when Delaney arrives to nanny. If I needed a full time nanny, she would be my number one choice. She has babysit for our date days, date nights, and weekdays when needed for over 2 years. I was amazed she could get my daughter to nap, or to bed on time. She changed diapers and helped us during the potty training processes. Delaney gives gentle baths, makes sure your child has clean clothes, cleans up, reads books, plays games, helps with educational activities, and makes sure there is no or little screen time. She always arrives on time, if not early. She always replies to inquiries and is honest in all her replies. I love how transparent she is and couldn't ask for more. I only wish I could use her more!

Our 2 yr old loves Delaney. She is professional, reliable and punctual. Our daughter was drawn to her immediately and is excited to see her again!
