About Delaney

I am a certified social studies teacher for grades 5-12, and have experience teaching at both the middle and high school levels. I currently teach 8th grade U. S. History, and have previously taught 9th grade World History, 11/12th grade Psychology, and 11/12th grade World Geography. However, my skill set and knowledge of social studies is not limited to the courses I have taught previously. I specialize in U. S. history, from the beginning of civilization in the Americas to the present day. My strongest skill set is in civil rights history within America. Not only am a a strong social studies teacher, but I am skilled at teaching students the tricks and tools needed to craft a well-written paper or essay. I can help build the skills necessary to write a research paper, persuasive essay, or any general essay topic of history/social studies. I can work one-on-one with student, or can work with a small group of students at a time. I am also highly skilled at remote learning!
