About Delaney

Hello! My name is Delaney, and I am passionate about helping young learners thrive in their reading skills. I graduated cum laude from CSU with a degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. I hold an Early Childhood Teacher Licensure. With extensive experience as a nanny, intern, student teacher and substitute teacher, I excel in developing strong relationships with students, implementing positive behavior management strategies, and creating developmentally appropriate lessons for students. I specialize in tutoring elementary students (K-2nd) in phonemic awareness and phonics, developing individualized lessons to enhance their reading skills and provide the essential tools they need to grow as young learners. My lessons incorporate evidence-based practices, fun manipulatives and engaging activities to foster a love for reading. I am easy to reach for discussing tutoring hours or your child's progress.
