About Delaney

I'd describe my personality as fun, caring, and loving. I like working with kids because I'm a kid at heart. I have trauma and know kids are very vulnerable. Working with kids put me in the position to be not only in charge but responsible for their safety and the things they are learning. I'm looking for a job that allows me to be myself. That let's me take the kids fun places at least once a week for a "field trip" and go either to the park, pool, Boonshoft, magic castle, sky zone, etc. I started working with kids when I was 13 but have always helped my older sister babysit when I was younger. In my spare time, I like to spend time with family. I come from a big extended family and we're all really close. One thing you should know about me is I have taken child development and individuals with exceptionalities courses. My skills include calming children during tantrums/ meltdowns, putting kids of any age to bed, always making sure there's a clean diaper
