About Delaney

I'd describe my personality as calm, sensitive and hardworking. One thing you should know about me is i'm straightforward. I am a balance of kind and strict. I want kids to be kids... enjoy themselves and not worry about adult matters such as navigating family dynamics, timelines, social media/internet, or their basic needs being met. As a caregiver, it's my job to provide rules, safe boundaries, routines and structure for the health of the child. I take those responsibilities very seriously because of my background. I did not grow up with that kind of support and I take being a parent / caregiver as a chance to provide kids with safe spaces to just be, kids. My top skills for child care include dedicated time to art and learning, healthy balanced meal preparation, and balancing routines with a child's individual needs. I'm looking for a great family to help. I am seeking part time work to help support myself and my family while I pursue my nursing degree as a full time student.
