About Deja Verenda

Hi! I'm Deja and I am a student at Case Western Reserve University pursing my Masters in Social Work with a concentration in children, youth and adults. During my college career I was a residential aid for 3 years at an assisted living facility and a mentor for youth in Seneca County's SMYL program. I am a certified CPR/First Aid/AED instructor as well as a certified CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) instructor. I have 3 years of experience as a nanny and babysitting/working with children and adults for 5 years. As a caregiver, I enjoy sharing my passion for art and reading with children. I love making fun developmental activities for kids and creating fun art projects for them to work on. I am a foodie and love the outdoors! If I'm not on a walking trail with my pup Sage, I am typically at home cooking or baking for family and friends. I am excited to meet your family and can't wait to make a lasting impact though care, attention and fun!
