I have 17 years experience as an elementary teacher in public, private, and charter schools. I am an exceptional math teacher and can break down skills and concepts to students who are struggling. I have plenty of experience working with neuro divergent students and am able to help them discover study skills and adaptations that suit them best for both classroom learning and independent studying. I am available to individual families or student study groups after school or on weekends, with plenty of availability in the summer. *My after school and weekend tutoring schedule is currently booked, but please feel free to message me for Summer 2025 availability and/or be put on my waiting list if a slot becomes available during the school year.*

We've had a lot of tutors over the years between my two daughters who both have ADHD and learning disabilities, and Deirdre has been one of the absolute best! Aside from being dependable, punctual, and knowledgeable, she's also just wonderful with my daughter. She's engaging, kind, flexible, and can somehow always manage to get a sometimes moody teenager on board. My daughter's math skills and testing scores have improved drastically in the time they've been working together. We hope to keep Deirdre as a tutor for as long as we possibly can!
