About Deirdre

I enjoy helping children learn about and navigate their world. I have 8 years of experience caring for children of all ages as well as autistic and neurodivergent individuals. I'm comfortable with up to 3 children at a time and have skills regarding sibling dynamics. I am patient and calm and promote co-regulation whenever reasonable. I follow the parents' lead when it comes to household rules, and I am used to redirecting unwanted behaviors and introducing positive habits. I communicate daily reports via text message; let me know what you prefer. I love playing educational games and getting crafty. I hold a current CPR and First Aid certificate. I am happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, and crafts. I have reliable transportation and am comfortable with pets. I look forward to the opportunity to bring my experience to your family.
