About Deidre

I have a passion for math and science. I strongly feel that both are critical areas in a child's academic career, and should be taken seriously. I am very comfortable with both subjects ranging from 1st grade to 12th grade. A little about me.... I began working with children at a local preschool at the age of 16. I stayed there for 10 years before I decided to pursue my college education. I worked with ages 6 weeks to 12 years of age. The last 5 years of my time there, I was the lead K3 teacher. Shortly after graduation, life happened and took me to Clemson where I had a career change, and a beautiful daughter. During those 4 years, I realized just how much I missed teaching preschool. I loved my time at Upstate, and I am thankful for my education; however my heart is with preschool. I moved back home, and began teaching K4 in Greenville in October 2014. I'm super excited about this school year. My schedule allows me to teach those precious little ones, and tutor those in need of my favorite subjects, math and science.
