About Debra

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, kind and caring. I currently work for a retirement community and the YMCA teaching senior fitness classes. I would like to fill my afternoons by helping others and to share happiness & love. I started caring for seniors when I started teaching Silver Sneakers Fitness classes 4 years ago. In my spare time, I like to exercise, walk, movies, netflix, bike, swim, meditate. I cared for both parents at home when they slowed down and needed my assistance. My dad had MS and my mom was starting to fail, physically. I promised them I would care for them and they would never have to go to a nursing home. I kept my promise. They both passed in their home of 50 years. My skills include cooking, teaching/instructing, and communicating on their level understanding their unique needs. Sincerely, Deb
