About Debra

I am a certified teacher with more than 30 years of experience working with children and currently work in special education with students in grades 3-5. I also have approximately six years of earlier paid child-care experience, including babysitting and working in a daycare. I am dependable, active, patient, organized, and comfortable supporting children with a variety of learning and developmental needs. I am especially interested in travel opportunities with families who need a reliable, experienced companion for a child or a teen, including those with special needs. I enjoy staying active and am comfortable helping with transportation, activities, outings, travel routines, learning support, and navigating new environments. I am open to both short-term assignments and travel opportunities. Available for travel during winter, spring and summer breaks and school holidays, with occasional weekends during the school year.
