About Debra

Hi! Parents, My name is Debra, but in the nanny world I go by Deb. I have been caring for two extremely amazing young boys; ages 2 1/2 and 4 1/2 for over two years. Originally from Colorado I moved to Nashville five years ago. I have raised two children that are both adults and out on their own. Both my children were preemies, so I have experience caring for premature babies. One of the many things I have done with children are as follows: substitute teacher, home school parent, Sunday school teacher, children's choirs director, and volunteer environmental education for the Department of Fish and Wildlife. I have a certification as a Newborn Care Specialist and I am an associate member of the International Nanny Association. As far as careers I have helped manager our family farm in Colorado, and owned my own construction company. I would have to say that working as a nanny is one of the most rewarding careers that I have ever done. I love working with children!
