I am a full-time Maryland certified teacher of language arts and reading. I provide individual Reading and Math tutoring for students who are 3 to 12 years old. I have been a teacher for over 12 years and I find my profession both challenging and rewarding! I work best with struggling and below grade-level readers. Our first session is at no charge, as I will assess the student and consult with the parent or guardian to determine the goals and needs of the child.

I have seen Debbie do amazing things. I watched her teach an illiterate young adult with minimal vision how to read in months. She went above and beyond in every lesson and has even invested her own time into creating fun teaching ways for a young adult, signed up for the different libraries that work specifically with the blind giving him access to a whole library of audio books and that's just one of the things she has done for her. I could not recommend her enough!
