About Debra

My experience with children started as I began "babysitting" when I was 11 years old. I was a nanny from my years in high school through my college years at UWMilwaukee. After receiving a bachelor's degree in business administration and working in the business field for roughly 1 year, I realized my true desire was working with children. Through the course of 6 or 7 years, I worked as a daycare teacher at the YMCA in Menomonee Falls in the infant/toddler/preschool rooms. I then worked in the before and after school program. I also worked as a kindergarten and 5th grade teacher's aide in an elementary school in Menomonee Falls. After having our first child, I transitioned to being a stay-at-home mom. I was blessed with 7 children and homeschooled each of them. I have also worked in various children's programs in our church.
