About Debra

I'm a mother of identical twin boys who are 24 years old. Working with children has always been in my career plans. I went to nursing school and had aspired to be a pediatric nurse. I worked in a pediatric medical practice for nine years as a medical assistant. I also have an Associate Degree in Education. I have always been the go to person when my family or friends have needed a reliable capable and nurturing caregiver for their children. I provided two years of childcare for my cousin in-law's 5-year-old son from the time he was 18 months old until he was 30 months old, three days a week as well as occasionally at this time. I have three years experience in the daycare/preschool setting. My experience consists of caring for newborns through school age children. I had a brief job as a nanny last year for 1-year-old twins. Currently I work casually for a backup nanny service. I enjoy watching and helping children grow physically and intellectually.
