I would love to care for your children of any age full or part-time. I have 35+ years of child care experience in a working/teaching capacity as well as with disabled children K-12. I raised my son and now grandchildren. I have 1 grandchild who is just turning 2 and 1 that started kindergarten this year. I raised my son as a single mom so, I know what a challenge that can be. I also have extensive experience with a family I cared for in Houston for 3 years as there Nanny/House Manager. The family I joined in Houston included 3 children. She had a newborn baby and twin boys preschool age. The twin boys were born with some mild learning disabilities so, I home-schooled her boys with great success. This was a very rewarding and challenging endeavor. It still surprises me how much I miss them and how much I enjoyed each and every day with them. As a mom I know the most important thing is to know that our children are safe when we are away from them so, it's a bonus when they are happy and learning as well. To this day I miss them everyday and still see them whenever I get into Houston. I also helped with lite house keeping, snacks , some meal prep, homework and transport to activities, dentist and doctor's apptointments as needed. We took weekly field trips during the summer.
