I am upbeat, confident, calm & steady. A thermostat rather than than a reactive thermometer. As a child I wanted to be a mother, a teacher, a nurse. I'm a nurturing person; teaching and explaining as I go is second nature. I've worked with children since age 13. I'm a stickler for safely: car seats, safe sleep, sunscreen, etc. My skills include teaching, planning, flexibility, caring and understanding. I love seeing people learn, whether a baby rolling over for the first time, or a preschooler mastering a puzzle, or discovering something through nature. That moment when the child's face lights up with 'I did it' is priceless! I've raised 3 sons; now I'm Grandma to 5 grandchildren. Nannying is the job that isn't 'work'. I love every minute of it. My degree is in education and psychology. I enjoy being able to use my education and years of experience as mom and grandma to help families with their most precious children.
