My experience spans over 15 years in caring for individuals with various health issues including Parkinson's Disease, Diabetes and Dementia. I have experience as a doctor/patient advocate (I accompany individuals to appointments and report to the family), and am certified by the American Red Cross in Basic Life Support/CPR skills. I am fully vaccinated against the virus. I assist with personal hygiene, dressing, dispensing of medication, meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, and errands. I have an upbeat, positive attitude and I am a very reliable person. I love to cook and enjoy reading, puzzles, card games, music and good conversation. Thanks to Debi, our father was able to remain at home despite memory impairment. Debi went above and beyond and built a level of trust with Dad that enabled him to feel as though he was in the company of a trusted friend. Dad enjoyed spending time with Debi who shared her gift of music with him. Debi took Dad on frequent outings and helped him to stay socially active. She was a wonderful advocate and attended all of Dad's medical appointments. All of this in addition to managing Dad's day to day needs such as grocery shopping, meal prep, laundry, medication management, etc. Debi was an excellent communicator and kept us apprised of daily events and all concerns. Our Dad was not only cared for, he felt cared about. Debi was truly a blessing for the past seven months. Anyone would be lucky to have her as a caregiver. I would not hesitate to recommend her services. We are forever grateful for her assistance.
