About Deborah

I am a female with a Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology and over 35 years experience providing cognitive, communication, swallow therapy, caregiver education and end of life care in nursing homes, home health and clinic settings. My passion is meaningful client centered elder care. I have an excellent background in various dementia's, swallowing and feeding issues, stroke rehab, Parkinson's and many other neurogenic disorders. I enjoy working with families to improve communication, memory strategies, safety awareness, coping with change and much more. I am looking to provide private care that is meaningful, thorough and unique in a home or senior community setting. Some things I can offer include: med management, cognitive games, excellent healthy cooking, feeding, attentive listening and conversation, making or discussing art, light personal hygiene care, help with dressing, housekeeping, organizational skill training, fun memory strategies, pet and plant care and much more.
